A diaper backpack with the carrier already inside it. The HugBag was designed by Una Lutin, a mother of three, after years of leaving the carrier behind or trying to squeeze it into a full bag. The patented design, US Patent No. 10,945,518 B1, folds the carrier into a compact rectangle that stores inside the backpack, so it is there on the day your little one wants to be held.

At a glance

  • Carrier and hip seat for children from 8 lb to 45 lb
  • Waistband approximately 52 inches, with fit help available before you order at info@lublu.com
  • You do not need to empty the bag. Pull the carrier out, use it attached to the backpack or on its own, and store it back inside when you are done
  • 16 compartments and insulated pockets, with a center zip so you can reach what you need without digging
  • Includes the diaper backpack in your selected color, the baby carrier and hip seat, and a changing pad

Room for a full family day out

Multiple compartments and insulated pockets help organize baby essentials, snacks, and your own belongings. The bag unzips across the middle for easier access when you need to find something during an outing.

See how it works before you buy

Read the instructions and fit guidance, and watch the carrier demonstrations linked from our FAQ, so you can see the carrier come out of the bag and be used on its own.

Easy 30-day returns

Try your HugBag at home. If it is not right for you, reply to your order email, or email info@lublu.com, within 30 days of delivery. We will email you a prepaid US return label at no charge within 2 business days. Return the complete kit clean and undamaged. No restocking fee.

Lublu Share & Save — get 50% back

For new Gray or Black HugBags purchased directly from Lublu.com on or after October 12, 2026, receive a rebate equal to 50% of the product amount actually paid after discounts. Shipping and taxes are excluded from the calculation. This is a later refund, not an immediate checkout discount.

  1. Within 30 days of purchase, publish an original public Instagram or Facebook feed post or Reel showing you wearing the HugBag backpack or using its carrier with your child. The product must be clearly visible. A child does not need to appear. Stories alone do not qualify.
  2. Tag @lublu.baby and share your honest experience. No minimum follower count, views, likes, or positive review is required.
  3. Clearly disclose: “Ad — I’m receiving a 50% rebate from Lublu for sharing my experience.” Place the disclosure near the beginning of your caption, before “more.” For videos, also include the disclosure visibly and audibly in the video.
  4. Email info@lublu.com within the same 30 days with your order number, public post link, and original photo or video. Keep the post publicly available for at least 30 days after posting.

Review and refund

We review submissions within five business days. If something is missing, we explain what to correct and allow seven days to fix it. After a qualifying submission is verified, we issue the 50% product rebate to the original payment method within ten business days. Your payment provider may take additional time to show the refund.

Simple terms

  • One rebate for one HugBag per customer. Posting on multiple platforms does not earn extra rebates. This offer applies to the new Gray and Black HugBag on this page; sale items with imperfect packaging and purchases from other retailers are excluded.
  • Use your own original content and follow the product’s fit, age, weight, and use instructions. You must have permission from anyone shown; only a parent or guardian may submit content featuring their child.
  • No purchase return is required to receive the rebate. Your easy-return rights remain available. If you return the product after receiving a rebate, we refund the remaining eligible amount so total refunds do not exceed what you paid. Canceled or fully refunded purchases do not qualify.
  • You retain ownership of your content. Sending it does not grant Lublu permission to use it in advertisements; we request permission separately.
